Got this out on DVD the other day. Its a Fabulous girl comedy. Heres a plot summary off IMDb because I’m lazy.

Finding family. Shelley Darlingson was raised in an orphanage, finally happy when she blossoms into a fox and moves into the Playboy Mansion. Unfortunately, she’s summarily expelled on her 27th birthday(she’s now too old). In desperation she takes a job as house mother for a sorority of misfits losing their house for lack of members. They have but a few months to find 30 pledges, or a sorority of mean girls will take over their place. Shelley figures that girls will pledge a house that boys find interesting, so she sets out to make the Zetas alluring, not act too smart, and host great parties. So I’m just only slightly obsessed with Anna Faris, especially in this film! I think this is a pretty well done comedy, its not exactly original but it definitely is fresh. And I like fresh. Fresssshhhhh, it just trickles off the tongue. Anyway… as much as I love this gold nugget I aint so sure that the male species like it as much as I do. Oh, I’m more than sure they like it in the sense they get to see girls in underwear but do they laugh when we do? Probably should have asked some buddies about that, oh well. Anna walks in hooker heels like a teachers pet aces a test. A skill I would love to have my self, but you know I’d just end up somehow poking my eyes out. Fact.

Moving along, the film isnt exactly Oscar winning material. However it is perfect for when you arent in the best of moods and in need for cheering up. A good rainy day film, definitely.

HORRIBLE BOSSES

Okay, so basically this film is about three best friends that absolutely hate/have “horrible” bosses. So the natural solution of course, if to murder each others bosses. Naturally there are a few bumps in the road to murder town. Personally I found the film as a whole quite hilarious and geniusly written and directed. I was quite surprised at how well Jen Aniston acted as this sexual beast of a lady. I thought that her character could have ended out coming across really awkward and not very believable. Thank goodness that never happened, it would have taken away from the film rather than add.

I have been a fan of Charlie Day for some time now and he played his character so well in the film, I can find no faults. He plays the goofy, idiot friend really well. However I would love to see him in the future play different roles, I think he would do really well.

All in all, its a great light hearted film about three best friends that just some how great themselves into trouble, and some how out of it again.
